As well as Apticote 2000, the ultimate engine armour, we can bore out the block to give you even more power. We can also supply a range of fine to super-fine surface finishes, which are available right up to 0.05 Ra. Here at Aptec we have the very latest in sophisticated gauging techniques to measure surface roughness and bore diameters to the nearest 0.1 microns. Apticote 2000, a nickel ceramic matrix compound, produces an excellent performance gain in any engine block - Aluminium Alloy or Cast Iron.
